These are a few questions to get us started on the new topic:
- Through which medium does sound travel? Sound can travel through many mediums including soilds, liuids and gases. A medium is basically anything sound can travel through, mediums are only objects that can vibrate. Such as a glass window or water
- What is used to measure sample size? Sample size is measured in digits which can then be used for digitisation.
- What is used to measure sample rate? Sample rate is measure by a units called hertz (Hz) or samples per second.
- Compare the quality of AM, FM and Digital Radio? Overall Digital radio can be said to be the best of all three. It is now the "future" of all radios. It is said to have close-to-CD quality sound output. In terms of AM and FM radios, FM has a higher output single frequency carrier than AM. AM radio is more likely to suffer from static interference than FM radio as it is more emmune to such problems.
